This work is an attempt at articulating the processes of interconnectedness that underpin our perceptions of the world. Moriarty uses relationships and connections as a way of making sense of something inarticulable. By focussing on interconnectedness, an idea transforms into a complex web of becoming. You Are Here discusses relationality through the lens of the diagrammatic, exploring ways that ideas form as a sum of their parts. 

 

A diagram can display a reality or map out an event; it is both a reflection and a prediction. 

Here, a diagram displays a process of becoming that is in flux and continual— space, time, people and objects lean on and affect one another. The diagram itself creates a constant present as time flows around it and the viewer walks amongst it.
